We are natives of Illinois, but Texans in spirit and we moved to Houston in late 2013 for the dual purpose of year-round sailing and advancing our professional careers. We current own and live aboard a Catalina 445 and enjoy 'brown water' sailing on Galveston Bay on a regular basis. 

  

We are a couple of DINKs and after a 2011 trip to Scrub Island, BVI, we fell in love with the sea. Shortly thereafter, John began SCUBA and sailing certification and Michelle continued to hone her culinary skills. We have been guests aboard a sailing catamaran charter in BVI twice and bare boated a catamaran with friends .

 

After sailing on the clear blue Caribbean, we knew that our future would eventually include switching our clocks to ‘Island Time’.
